HOW TO MAKE RUJAK BUAH
(FRUIT SALAD WITH PEANUT SAUCE)
Task 5
Words power:
∙ Brown sugar : gula merah
∙ Tamarind liquid : air asam jawa
∙ Grind chilies : giling cabe
∙ Serve chilled : sajikan sewaktu dingin
Ingredients :
- 1 papaya, cut into 1/2 inch cubes
- 1 cucumber, peeled
- 1 mango, peeled cubed
- 1 pineapple, cut into 1/2 inch cubes
- 3 tablespoons peanuts, fry
- 1 hot chili pepper, seed, sliced
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon tamarind, dissolved in 1/4 cup water
Tool: Knife, Potato piller, spoon , plate and apron
Steps :
∙ First, mix all the fruits together
∙ Second, grind chilies and salt
∙ Third, add brown sugar
∙ Next, add dry roasted peanuts and grind completely
∙ After that, pour some tamarind liquid
∙ Then, mix the sauce and fruits together
● Finally, serve chilled
